| I've got a real slow steering fluid leak and my steering boots are both ripped, so I figure I might as well rebuild my rack when I go to replace the boots and I was hoping that somebody here might help me on deciding which seal kit to buy. FYI, I've never noticed any steering problems with the car, other than having to add a little fluid every few months, so I'm assuming that means my my rack is probably in good condition, aside from the seals. Anyway, here are the options I've found: Z1 sells a Nissan kit with just the left and right seals plus a center bushing for $20. Z1 OEM PWS Housing Seal Kit
Then, rockauto.com sells an Edelmann 8737 Power Steering Repair Kit that looks like it comes with a lot more stuff for $50 (although I'm not 100% sure if the picture completely matches the product.) This kit looks like it comes with the left and right main seals, but I'm not sure if it comes with the center bushing?
Finally CZP sells a Nissan OEM 300ZX Power Steering Rack Rebuild Kit W/O Boots that looks like it comes with more than the Z1 kit for $60. But I'm not sure if that extra stuff is worth the extra $40, or the extra trouble to replace it? CZP link
To anyone on here that's done this job, which kit would you recommend? Am I likely to be fine with just the $20 Nissan/Z1 kit? If I do decide to replace ALL the smaller seals and copper rings, does that Edelmann kit come with the center bushing? Is it really even all that necessary to replace that center bushing? Any advice from people who've already done this job will be much appreciated.
